Once Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson were at church together in Hamburg they realized there was no going to the other side. Ashley was just 17 and hadn't had any type of romantic relationship and was very cautious about everything. The two were instantly in love. Andrew prayed to God on New Year's Eve, right before 2016 began. He requested God for one final favor this year, which was that Ashley say yes and get married. Ashley was looking for an authentic folk-style wedding that represented both her and Andrew. The couple incorporated a bit of everything they loved to create the big day. Ashley was a child on the 40-acre property that was selected as the venue for their wedding. Ashley knew the whole area, having explored it and even playing there. Additionally, Andrew and Ashley had walked the area many times when they first began dating. Personalization was key since they did a lot of it by themselves. Andrew and Ashley's dad created the seating areas and the arch used for the ceremony. Ashley painted many of these decorations. Ashley says, "Our wedding would not be the unforgettable experience that I've always dreamed of if Anna's beautiful flower arrangements hadn't been created." It's truly amazing.
